Settings
The Settings page allows you to customize Renovation Business Pro for your business.
- Labour Description and Rate allows default rates to be entered in Labour details for Estimates and Invoices. Don't worry you can over-ride these values and use what you like. To add a new Labour rate, enter a description and rate in the text boxes then click Add Labour Rate. To edit a current Rate, Click on a row then edit in the boxes and click Update Labour Rate or Delete Selected Labour Rate
- Part Numbers are a listing of often used parts and prices. This allows you to quickly enter commonly used parts into you estimates or invoices. This parts can be ones you have in house or simply use frequently. As for labour, simply type a new one into the text boxes and click Add Part. Edit an existing part by clicking on the row, editing in the boxes, then clicking Update Part or Delete Selected Part
- Category: This list is used to categorize expenses, usually for Income Tax purposes. Consult you accountant if you are unsure what to put in here. As above simply add a Category in the blank text box and click Add Expense Category or edit by clicking on an existing category and clicking the Update or Delete button
- Work History: Excellent for presenting to customers where several invoices are billed over an extended time period
